Samsung Electronics said on Wednesday it has begun mass production of the PM1763
enterprise SSD, which will be used in NVIDIA's forthcoming Vera Rubin platform.
The drive uses Samsung's latest V-NAND and a newly developed 4nm controller,
delivering more than double the read/write speeds of the prior generation.
Designed to reduce data latency for advanced processors and AI accelerators, the
PM1763 features liquid cooling to sustain high throughput during AI training and
inference. Samsung first showcased the PM1763 at NVIDIA's GTC earlier this year
alongside next‑generation HBM4 memory and low‑power SOCAMM2 modules as part of
an AI data-center solution.
