By the morning close, China's front-month futures were mostly higher: benzene,
fuel oil, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), styrene (EB) and SC crude were up more than
5%; methanol gained nearly 5%; propylene and polypropylene rose over 4%. Lagging
were stainless steel (SS), down nearly 2%, and Shanghai silver, lithium
carbonate and asphalt, each down about 1%.
