At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose, with SC crude oil, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and fuel oil rising over 6%, benzene rising over 5%, styrene (EB), and methanol rising over 4%, propylene rising nearly 4%, and polypropylene rising over 3%. On the downside, industrial silicon, stainless steel (SS), and lithium carbonate fell over 2%, apples and cotton fell over 1%, and nickel, sugar, and cotton yarn fell nearly 1%.
