On the evening of the 8th (local time) Pakistan's foreign ministry said it is
concerned about rising U.S.-Iran tensions, saying renewed conflict would be
against the interests of any party. It urged restraint and called on all sides
to avoid actions that could further damage regional peace and stability.
Pakistan said diplomatic engagement and dialogue remain the only path to
regional peace, urging parties to honor commitments under the memorandum of
understanding framework, and reiterated it is willing to play a constructive
role in promoting regional stability.
