Deutsche Bank’s private unit said it would consider buying emerging Asia bonds if crude prices stay low enough to curb inflation and push down yields. Emerging markets CIO Jacky Tang said sustained crude at $65–$70 per barrel for about two months would raise confidence in India and Indonesia, which are most sensitive to energy costs. He added emerging market bonds will only attract meaningful attention once shipping through the Strait of Hormuz fully resumes.
