On her 100th day in charge, BP CEO Meg O'Neill said the company will prioritize
safe, reliable and cost‑effective daily operations, saying safety always comes
first. BP was found grossly negligent over the 2010 Deepwater Horizon spill and
a 2022 fire at its Ohio refinery killed two workers. O'Neill said BP aims to
deliver strong quarterly results consistently and to be the sector's most
"predictable" company; she flagged clearer accountability and strict cost and
capital discipline as additional priorities.
