Experts have revealed that European cloud service provider Nextcloud maintained an unprotected database on the public internet, exposing sensitive internal and customer data to anyone with access to it. Nextcloud is a free, open-source platform that allows users to build their own private clouds. It is often seen as an alternative to Google Drive or Microsoft 365, its advantage being that it gives users control over where their data is stored. (Techradar)
