Beijing Daxing International Airport warned of large-scale flight delays from
17:30 local time after forecasts of intermittent thunderstorms with intense
short-duration rainfall and heavy accumulated precipitation. The airport
operations committee has issued a blue flood alert and a widescale flight-delay
advisory and is coordinating with air traffic control and airlines to manage
flight operations and passenger services.
