Qunar platform data show that as of June 30, 2026 foreign-passport travelers
purchased inbound flights to 160 Chinese cities. In 1H 2026 inbound visitors on
the platform originated from 575 cities across 158 countries, an increase of 11
countries year-on-year. Source markets in Belt and Road countries grew fastest:
Mongolia up 150% YoY, Uzbekistan up 120% YoY. European source markets, noted for
longer stays and higher spending, also expanded; arrivals from Milan rose nearly
70% YoY.
