On the 10th, Yanase, a major Japanese auto importer, announced the opening of its BYD dealership, which will officially open on the 11th. This marks Yanase's first time representing a Chinese brand. Located in Isogo Ward, Yokohama, this new BYD dealership is the brand's 53rd store in Japan. The store will sell a variety of pure electric vehicles and the plug-in hybrid Sealion 6, as well as the Racco, a small pure electric vehicle scheduled for release on the 28th. BYD Japan President Atsuki Tofukuji attended the opening ceremony and welcomed the move, stating, "This will create more opportunities for people to experience the quality of BYD electric vehicles firsthand."
