China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the State Administration for
Market Regulation (SAMR) jointly released revised Standards for the Discharge of
Water Pollutants from Medical Institutions to address incomplete coverage in the
existing standard and strengthen support for treating emerging pollutants and
for water ecological risk prevention.
