Nanjing metro has suspended service on all surface and elevated sections from
the start of operations on July 12 until further notice, after the Nanjing
meteorological observatory issued an orange typhoon warning for Typhoon Bavi.
The observatory forecasts maximum gusts of force 9–10 on land and 10–12 over
water, with possible short-duration heavy rain.
