On July 12, at the request of Tianjin and Anhui flood-control headquarters, the
Office of the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the
National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration allocated more than 7,500
central flood-control items — sandbags, laminated woven fabric, rubber boats,
drainage equipment and generators — to support flood emergency and rescue
operations.
