The chair will have an opportunity to shape consensus during this congressional testimony week and will possess the June inf print — the last major data before the meeting.

At the morning close, China's onshore main futures contracts were mixed: fuel oil rose more than 4%; synthetic rubber and ethylene glycol (EG) gained about 4%; benzene and LPG climbed over 3%; styrene, SC crude, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and methanol were up over 2%. On the downside, SHFE silver fell nearly 3%; live hogs, platinum and coke dropped over 2%.
