Fed governor WALLER said on Monday that when reviewing this week’s inf data he would give more weight to another high print than to a lower one. He said the U.S. has seen 'higher, higher, higher, higher' readings for roughly five to six months. He added that another higher print would be treated as a signal rather than noise, but if inf falls he would likely need one or two more months of data before regarding the decline as a signal.
