CUSTOMS data show China’s 1H trade remained diversified. Trade with Belt and
Road countries totaled 12.97 tln yuan, +14.8%, accounting for 50.9% of total
foreign trade; trade with neighboring countries was 9.44 tln yuan, +20.6%. Trade
with Latin America and Africa rose 16.2% and 19.6%, respectively; trade with the
EU rose 10.2%. By operator type, private enterprises' imports and exports
totaled 14.53 tln yuan, +17%, accounting for 57% of foreign trade;
foreign-invested and state-owned enterprises rose 17.1% and 16.8%, respectively.
