Kuaishou said that, following directives from the National Radio and Television
Administration and the Beijing Radio and Television Bureau, it has intensified
micro-drama review and education and recently intercepted, rectified or removed
more than 700 non-compliant micro-dramas, including animated titles, and dealt with
with a batch of violating accounts. Measures target lowbrow or vulgar titles and
content, material harmful to minors, glamorization of distorted romantic
relationships, promotion of extreme violence, and in children's micro-dramas,
adultification, materialism and lowbrow or extreme plotlines.
