Xizhi Technology will debut at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai (July 17–20, 2026) what it says is the world’s first integrated edge compute box based on a photonic‑electronic hybrid computing chip, named Tianshu Light Cube. The unit integrates a photonic compute chip, CPU, memory, active cooling and full I/O for plug‑and‑play deployment and, the company says, has already seen commercial deployment globally in real high-frequency civilian scenarios to support face‑recognition and other AI tasks.
