EHang Intelligent said it is carrying out organizational efficiency optimization
and talent restructuring as a routine management action, centered on AI-driven
productivity gains and targeting low-performance roles. The company said it is
simultaneously recruiting specialists and that its core team remains stable.
Market reports of layoffs surfaced days after the company reported weak
quarterly results: Q1 total revenue 25.7 mln yuan versus 26.1 mln yuan in the
same period of 2025; net loss widened to 126 mln yuan from 78.4 mln yuan a year
earlier. EHang said the personnel adjustments aim to raise headcount
productivity, optimize cost structure and underpin medium- to long-term
development.
