Hong Kong shares closed higher; the Hang Seng Index rose 0.52% and the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 0.06%. Main-board turnover was HKD 312.9 billion. Oil & gas and semiconductor names outperformed. Techs diverged: Baidu (09888.HK) fell over 7% and Kingsoft Cloud (03896.HK) dropped nearly 7%, while BYD Electronic (00285.HK) jumped more than 8% and MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) rose about 3%. Autos were mostly firmer: XPeng (09868.HK) +3%, Li Auto (02015.HK) and BYD Co (01211.HK) both up over 2%. Oil stocks strengthened on higher international crude: PetroChina (00857.HK) rose over 3%, Sinopec (00386.HK) and CNOOC (00883.HK) gained more than 2%.
