China's peak electricity load reached 1.551 billion kilowatts (1,551 GW) on July
14, up from 1.518 billion kW on July 10, the National Energy Administration
said. The National Development and Reform Commission and the NEA said the
national unified power market supported increased cross‑province/region/grid
transfers, with maximum transfers totaling 263 GW on July 10 and 278 GW on July
14. Authorities said nationwide power supply-demand conditions are overall
stable.
