China's Taiwan Affairs Office said it supports two‑way investment between
mainland and Taiwan firms after Zhang Xue, chairman of Zhang Xue Motorcycles,
told reporters he plans to open a store in Taiwan no later than next year. The
office urged businesses on both sides to leverage their strengths, deepen
cooperation and make quality, affordably priced mainland products available to
Taiwan consumers.
