July 14 — A domestically developed nuclear-grade ion-exchange resin,
co-developed by Hainan Nuclear Power, China Nuclear Power Research and Design
Institute and Xi’an Lanxiao Technology, passed product appraisal by the China
Nuclear Energy Industry Association. Hainan Nuclear Power is the first Chinese
operator to complete in-reactor primary-loop validation of a domestic
nuclear-grade resin in a commercial reactor.
