SK Hynix ADR began trading on Nasdaq on the 10th. On its first day Korean retail
investors bought roughly 400 bln won of ADRs, with about 84k investors placing
orders through nine major brokers. Reported holdings totaled by those investors
1.36 mln ADRs, or 0.76% of the 177.9 mln-share issuance, worth ~338.9 bln won at
the offer price; including other brokers the buyer count is estimated near 100k
and holdings ~400 bln won. Domestically, individual investors net bought 788,510
SK Hynix shares on the 10th (~1.7 tln won). Despite a 16.15% drop on the 13th,
retail investors continued adding, buying about 3.0 tln won.
