At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose. Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose over 6%, fuel oil rose over 5%, synthetic rubber, container shipping to Europe, and ethylene glycol (EG) rose over 4%, palladium rose nearly 4%, and SC crude oil, styrene (EB), and propylene rose over 3%. On the downside, polysilicon and lithium carbonate fell over 2%, urea and Shanghai lead fell nearly 2%, and soda ash, peanuts, and Shanghai nickel fell over 1%.
