The Supreme People's Procuratorate said in 1H it prosecuted 58,000 people for crimes disrupting market order. It handled 11,000 cases of improper cross‑region or profit‑seeking enforcement, supervised withdrawal of 1,060 cases and decisions not to prosecute 1,324, and oversaw release/return of seized or frozen assets totaling 850 mln yuan. In coordination with the State Taxation Administration and other agencies it prosecuted 3,485 people for tax‑related crimes. It prosecuted 4,435 people for smuggling, including cases involving strategic minerals, and 4,759 for antitrust and unfair competition offenses (damaging reputation, forced transactions). The procuratorate also filed 128 public‑interest lawsuits to support the construction of a unified national market.
