Jiangsu province released 15 targeted measures to strengthen firms' overseas
patent layouts and boost international IP competitiveness. Measures are grouped
into five areas: industrial innovation quality, targeted enterprise guidance,
professional service support, international cooperation and talent development,
and enhanced coordination. The plan targets firms within Jiangsu’s '1650'
industry framework and '51010' strategic emerging clusters; about 80 companies a
year will receive 'patent micro-navigation' and bespoke R&D and overseas
patenting plans. Authorities will compile a key list of outbound firms and
implement one-company-one-policy tracking, aiming to provide services to at
at least 200 companies annually.
