The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated: "We believe that the world's public opinion can clearly see that this is the third time in a year that the United States has openly betrayed diplomacy in the negotiation process. This time, it did not even respect the signature on the memorandum of understanding, and violated many of its clauses under absurd pretexts just 20 days after signing it."
