Iran’s foreign ministry said the United States carried out increasingly
aggressive attacks within the past week, committing multiple war crimes by
striking civilian infrastructure including bridges and power plants. Tehran said
repeated threats and attacks on key facilities demonstrate U.S. criminal intent
and warned that those who executed the strikes cannot escape legal
responsibility by citing orders. Iran accused Washington of openly betraying
diplomacy for the third time in a year, saying the U.S. violated a memorandum of
understanding signed 20 days earlier and breached multiple clauses using what it
called absurd pretexts; Tehran said all consequences and responsibility for the
breach rest with the U.S. regime. The statement urged all countries, especially
Gulf neighbors to the south, to prevent the U.S. from using their territory or
facilities to plan or carry out aggressive attacks on Iran.
