The Wall Street Journal cited a senior U.S. official saying U.S. military forces
on Thursday struck multiple bridges inside Iran to sever supply routes to Bandar
Abbas and a naval base in the Strait of Hormuz. The official said Iran uses the
base to attack ships and project maritime power.
