U.S. vice president Vance dismissed reports that Iran accused Kushner and
Witkoff of using diplomatic inside information to arbitrage $9bn as nonsense. He
said he never received any such information and that, had he seen it, he would
have defended Kushner and Witkoff as trusted members of the president’s team and
close personal friends.
