ABC and NBC said they would not carry President Trump's primetime speech on
their primary broadcast channels; ABC will stream the address on ABC News Live
and air it on ABC News Radio, while NBC will not air it on its main channel. CNN
said it would provide live video on its website and paid streaming service CNN
All Access. Streaming outlets for ABC and NBC and CNN's paid platform typically
reach far fewer viewers than traditional broadcast or cable. The speech, on
election security, comes four months before the midterm elections. Trump said
networks that did not air his remarks should have their broadcast licenses
revoked.
