China Meteorological Administration (CMA) formally handed over its MAZU intelligent early‑warning system, Djibouti 2.0, at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference meteorology forum. CMA said the system will be deployed in Djibouti by year‑end and is intended for replication across cities, ports, airports, renewable‑energy sites and tourist areas with high weather impact. Delivered via CMA’s menu-style supply and customized-service platform, the package offers an observation–forecast–warning integrated solution for developing countries and supports the UN Early Warnings for All initiative.
