July 17 — Shangjie Auto said reports it would exit the Huawei-backed HarmonyOS Drive ecosystem are false. A preliminary probe found misleading or fabricated posts from social accounts; the company said it remains a member of the HarmonyOS Drive ecosystem jointly supported by SAIC Motor and Huawei, that cooperation is stable, market performance is steady and brand operations are unchanged. Shangjie Auto said the rumors have damaged its reputation, it has collected evidence and will pursue legal liability.
