CHINA met Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet in Shanghai on July 17. CHINA urged
acceleration of the "Industrial Development Corridor" and "Fish‑Rice Corridor"
projects, optimization of power and agricultural sectors, and promotion of AI
and the digital economy to support Cambodian livelihoods. The sides will use the
diplomatic, defense and public‑security "3+3" strategic‑dialogue mechanism to
jointly target cross‑border crime, including counterfeit goods, smuggling,
online gambling and telecom fraud. CHINA said it is willing to work with
Cambodia to implement four global initiatives and supports Cambodia‑Thailand
dialogue to consolidate the ceasefire and build mutual trust.
