CENTCOM said U.S. forces ended a seventh consecutive night of strikes on Iran at
9:30 p.m. ET on July 17. Strikes struck reconnaissance sites, military logistics
infrastructure, underground weapons storage and maritime targets, using
fighters, drones, warships and other assets. CENTCOM said it is following
commander direction to continue holding Iran accountable and is fully enforcing
a maritime blockade of Iranian ports. More than 50,000 U.S. service members are
deployed in the Middle East, remaining vigilant with lethal strike capability
and on standby.
