Eilat municipal spokesman said the Israel Defense Forces reported detection of
missiles launched from Iran toward Jordan’s Aqaba, near Israeli territory.
Explosions heard minutes ago were caused by Jordanian intercepts. Rear command
guidance remains unchanged and no domestic alerts are expected. All Israeli
forces are on heightened alert and conducting exercises and training.
Authorities said they will issue updates if the operational assessment changes.
