Boeing (BA.N) increased PAC-3 interceptor guidance-head production about 30%
last year to 650 units and plans a similar rise this year, targeting 850 sets,
Boeing Defense CEO Steve Parker said. Last year’s output is roughly comparable
to Lockheed Martin’s (LMT.N) planned PAC-3 missile production in 2026. A
framework agreement signed this year is expected to boost related output to
about 2,000 interceptors per year by 2030. Demand rose after Iran launched
ballistic missiles at multiple regional targets, prompting US and allied forces
to expend thousands of PAC-3 interceptors.
