Oil and petrochemical names led gains: Keli shares jumped over 17%, CNOOC hit the daily limit and PetroChina gained more than 5%. Coal mining rallied with multiple producers hitting limit-up. Liquor stocks recovered—Gujinggong hit the daily limit and Kweichow Moutai added over 5%. Power generators extended recent strength with several stocks limit-up. Gas, steel, banks, insurers, cloud computing and auto OEMs were also among the top gainers. PCB, MLCC, helium, memory chips, energy metals, advanced packaging and CPO sectors labeled. Half-day turnover on Shanghai and Shenzhen totaled about 1.67 tln yuan, up roughly 68.1 bln yuan versus the prior session; around 2,900 stocks advanced and 2,500 declined.

South Korean stocks rallied on Tuesday after a two-day selloff, with chip names leading gains and the Korean won easing from a 10-week high. The KOSPI rose over 3% on Tuesday after a 10.5% decline across the prior two sessions; the index is down more than 25% from its June 22 record high. Citigroup analysts said the pullback was driven mainly by foreign equity investors rebalancing and profit-taking, but they believe foreign selling is moderating as signs of dip-buying emerge and that KOSPI valuations are at historically low levels, presenting a buying opportunity.
