TrendForce said July 2026 TV panel prices fell while monitor and notebook panel
prices were broadly stable. It expects Q3 demand from major TV brands could rise
QoQ but be concentrated in August–September, leaving July weak; brands are using
the softer July demand to press panel suppliers for price cuts. Monitor panel
demand began softening in July as buyers trimmed orders; TrendForce estimates
overall monitor panel demand may decline about 6% QoQ. Despite weaker demand,
panel makers face elevated cost pressure and are reluctant to concede further
price cuts, so July monitor panel prices are expected to remain flat within a
mutually acceptable range.
