The Office of the Leading Group for Building a Quality‑Strong China, together
with relevant agencies, has launched the country’s first national
quality‑inspection campaign. From July 20 four inspection teams will enter
provinces to assess implementation of CPC Central Committee and State Council
quality directives, firms’ quality accountability, and inter‑agency handling of
quality risks. Teams will carry out spot checks in sectors marked by excessive
internal competition and in areas drawing strong public concern. The exercise is
intended to strengthen quality governance to support China’s high‑quality
economic development and improve consumer standards of living.
