S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures rise on Tuesday as a rebound in core AI chip stocks largely offset renewed US‑Iran tensions. Samsung and TSMC shares climbed, lifting tech sentiment, and an ETF tracking semiconductor companies rallied 4.3%. Nikkei reported TSMC plans to raise some foundry service prices by up to 10% from 2027 to offset higher raw material, equipment and overseas build costs. In pre-market trade most large tech names were higher, led by Tesla and NVIDIA; AMD, Intel and Micron also advanced. Chip and AI names had been under pressure for several weeks amid investor concern that AI-related valuations had run ahead of fundamentals.
