China told a State Council Information Office briefing that, as part of
implementing the 15th Five-Year Plan and accelerating customs modernization, its
Autonomous and unilateral opening policies are taking effect. In May it extended
comprehensive zero-tariff measures to all African diplomatic partners, bringing
the total number of countries covered by China's zero-tariff program to 63.
