Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology said at a July 21 press briefing on the city’s industrial and information software sector performance in 1H 2026 that the city has rolled out targeted measures to support digital economy firms’ international expansion. Beijing issued a last year Three‑Year Action Plan for building innovation service bases to support digital firms going global (2026–2028), setting construction goals and tasks for the period. Drawing on base operations and consultations with nearly 100 digital economic companies, the city has now released Several Measures to Accelerate and Promote the Overseas Expansion of Digital Economy Enterprises (the Ten Measures), comprising ten funding and resource support actions designed to lower firms’ costs of internationalization. Policy focus is threefold: expand overseas market‑access channels to ease market development; provide end‑to‑end support to cut cross‑border compliance and transaction costs; and cultivate an internationalized digital ecosystem to build Beijing’s going‑global brand.
