At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with palladium up over 5%, silver up nearly 5%, platinum, SC crude oil, and fuel oil up over 4%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) up over 3%, and gold up nearly 3%. On the downside, caustic soda, soybean oil, and iron ore fell over 1%, while styrene (EB), lead, rapeseed oil, and benzene fell nearly 1%.
