According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, the Iranian Army Commander-in-Chief stated, "We have absolutely no trust in our enemies. We have long known that they will not abide by the memorandum of understanding and will do foolish things; therefore, we have never stopped striving to improve our combat capabilities. If the enemy sets their dirty footsteps on Iranian soil, they will face millions of people armed with everything they can to fight back."
