Shanghai Composite rose 0.07% after an intraday recovery; Shenzhen Composite fell 1.42% and ChiNext dropped 3.23% by the close. Oil & gas exploration led gains: Zhongman Petroleum hit the daily limit, Tongyuan Petroleum and Keli Co. rose over 8%. Coal rallied: Dayou Energy hit the limit and Yankuang Energy gained more than 6%. Power names broadly recovered — Jiuzhou Group and Jiawei New Energy surged over 11%, while Huadian LiaoNeng, Huadian Energy, Lixin New Energy and several peers hit limit-up. Baijiu stocks were active: Shede Spirits and Yingjia Gongjiu climbed over 4%. Insurance, shipping & ports, lithium mining, plantation, innovative drugs, banks and minor metals also outperformed. Underperformers included MLCC, PCB, gaming, digital media, glass substrates, humanoid robots and lithography-equipment sectors. Turnover across Shanghai and Shenzhen reached CNY2.65 trillion, down about CNY303.7 billion versus yesterday; Roughly 1,500 stocks advanced and 3,900 fell.
