The European Union Aviation Safety Agency on Wednesday advised airlines to avoid Jordanian airspace after Iran struck Jordan and several US-allied Gulf states in a fresh escalation. EASA said it has extended its existing advisory for carriers operating in the Middle East — urging avoidance of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE and airspace over the Gulf of Oman — through Aug. 31; the new Jordan advisory carries the same expiry.
