Zhejiang governor Liu Jie chaired a provincial government meeting, saying H1
growth was steady and the province will press on to meet H2 targets. The
government will set up a government-guided, market-led multi-source funding
mechanism for basic research, raise the quality of science-and-technology
platforms, deepen construction of national AI application pilot bases,
comprehensively map AI and related industrial chains, and, in a planned, phased
manner, develop a pipeline and implement major AI projects to accelerate
creation of an AI innovation and development hub.
