According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, when asked about Trump's latest threats, an Iranian military source stated that Iran has an iron will to exercise sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and will never allow it to become a tool for threatening Iran again. He pointed out that ships passing through the strait are safe if coordinated with and arranged by Iran; otherwise, Iran will not relinquish its firm resolve to control the strait and considers this a necessary measure to ensure its long-term security. The military source stated that if the Americans strike any Iranian bridge or power plant, Iran will retaliate by striking infrastructure and bridges in the region, including energy facilities in which the US has interests. He emphasized that the Americans should have become fully convinced over the past ten days that Iran is capable of striking any target it chooses. Therefore, Trump's possible gamble will once again lead to his defeat.
